Highlight: Neon Neon was a short-lived team-up of cult-status musicians Bryan Hollon (aka Boom Bip, sounds fake right?) and Gruff Rhys. The opening (and title) track is electrifying; a funky soundscape filled with radio signals and analog sounds and samples that take you into the duo's world. The rest of the album is more Talking Heads than Avalanches, but it still manages to be unique and fun all the same.
