Highlight: We absolutely love the groove of tracks like "Try Again" and "Morning," but the album is at its most special when you learn more about Teyana Taylor herself, an outstanding artist and multi-hyphenate who retired from music decades too soon. The first track, "Intro," is raw and revealing immediately, almost uncomfortably so as it features audio of a 911 call from Taylor's husband as she went through a miscarriage. It's a demanding epic, but really the album needs to be listened to the whole way through. If you didn't know who Taylor was before, you'll know her (intimately) after this album.
